2. Get school stuff done for David and I
3. Start working out on a regular basis
4. Continue eating well and using Fitbit
It’s updating time!
So I woke up this morning and I felt really good. So I ended up weighing myself and I was 199.8. Mother of pearl, I made my goal!!!! With days to spare!
It’s been a great week all around! I have been working a lot and getting overtime. My check was fan-freaking-tastic! I have been eating well, getting all my vegetables in and staying in my calorie budget. I am also trying to get my “love life” in order. I am trying to stop being such a pansy and stop messing with other people’s feelings… and married men, in general… Not really going well… Boomer’s fault… Who am I kidding? My fault! All my fault!
Oh, I bought the best thing ever! I bought a Fitbit. On My Fitness Pal they have a little promo type thing for Fitbit. It’s like a pedometer on steriods! You can sync your fitbit and MFP. It automatically changes your calorie goal on MFP depending on your calories burned. It also tracks my sleep. It is seriously the best thing to have if you are on MFP!
Also, I got new glasses and contacts. It is actually the first time I am trying contacts and it is going surprisingly well. I also went to the mall today and picked up new work pants (size 18!) and accessories for my birthday outfit. A lot of money later and I have the perfect birthday outfit, new perfume (Armani! Uber excited!), new work pants and a small work out! Great day, all around!
Let’s recap! Love shopping, Fitbit and MFP make losing weight really easy and organized, and this girl made her goal!!
I really need to get it together if I want to be under 200 by my birthday. I have 15 days to lose 6 pounds. I am going to eat normally tomorrow and eat my 1500 calories and not work out. After tomorrow I will start on eating 1200 calories and working out 5-6 days a week. This is not exactly “healthy” but I am willing to go the extra mile to be 199 by my birthday. After my birthday I will continue to workout 5-6 days a week but I will bump up my calories to 1600, maybe even 1800, we’ll see.
Anyway, I bought two Jillian Michaels DVDs, Yoga Meltdown and 30 Day Shred. I am actually planning on doing both DVDs 5 days a week. I really do think I can handle it. I am kind of excited about it. A little extra walking and more use of the shake weight (yes, I have one) is also on the agenda.
In other news, as previously mentioned, I quit drinking coffee, soda and alcohol. I will begin drinking alcohol again after my birthday but I will continue to pass on coffee and soda. I was never a big fan of the big dose of caffine I would get when I drank them. I am drinking tea. Three to four cups of green tea in the morning, switching to decaf earl grey of decaf french vanilla tea after lunch and then herbal tea after dinner. So I am averaging 5-6 cups of tea a day with at least 6 cups of regular water a day. By the way, still not smoking!
Health and nutrition wise I am still doing okay. I am eating 30% fats, 20% proteins, and 50% carbs. I bumped up my fats up to help me grow my hair out, I think it’s working. I have been drinking a lot of green monsters, too. Mom thinks I’m nuts for putting spinach into my fruit smoothies but I love them. They make me feel really healthy. I am having some trouble staying under 2000 mg of sodium and getting at least 4700 mg of pottassium. Now I know that it is not required to put pottassium on nutrition labels but I just want one day where I actually reach my pottassium goal. Sodium is easily fixable but I have yet to stop eating packaged crap. But I am pleased to say that I only eat things that have ingredients that I can pronounce.
So, here’s to losing 6 pounds in two weeks!
I officially lost 40 pounds today. I feel good about it but I can’t wait to lose another 70!
This is what I said to my ex the other day and it felt better damn good!
Saw this loved it. No idea where it’s from but not mine.
